Louis Roederer Cristal 1999 Magnum is a benchmark prestige cuvée, combining the generosity of a warm, солнечный 1999 harvest with the finesse and precision that define Cristal. Made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from Louis Roederer’s prized Grand Cru vineyards, it offers a compelling mix of richness, structure, and luminous elegance. Originally created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, Cristal remains one of Champagne’s most iconic luxury wines.

Cristal 1999 shows a brilliant, refined golden hue with a persistent, fine mousse that reflects its status and maturity. The bouquet is complex and layered, opening with fresh citrus, green apple, and white flowers, then unfolding into notes of brioche, toasted nuts, and a delicate mineral spice. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced and harmonious, with vibrant acidity carrying creamy bubbles and a supple yet structured texture. The finish is long, elegant, and subtly saline-mineral, giving the wine both depth and finesse. This vintage has excellent aging potential and will continue to develop greater complexity over time.

Cristal 1999 is crafted from a carefully balanced blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay drawn from Louis Roederer’s selected Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne. The estate’s focus on vineyard precision and biodynamic farming helps preserve purity of fruit and a strong sense of terroir. Harvested by hand and vinified with great care, the wine is made to highlight both intensity and refinement, with extended cellar aging contributing to its layered complexity and silky texture.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne is ideal with refined dishes such as oysters, scallops, lobster, foie gras, or delicate fish and poultry preparations. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to best appreciate its aromatic detail and creamy structure. Decanting is not usually necessary, though a brief aeration in the glass can help open the wine if served in its mature phase.
