Marie-Courtin Concordance Extra Brut

Marie-Courtin Concordance Extra Brut is a biodynamic Champagne that captures the pure character of Pinot Noir from the southern reaches of Champagne. Produced by Dominique Moreau in Polisot, this cuvée stands out for its old vines, chalk-driven finesse, and an uncompromising cellar approach with no added sulfur and no dosage. The result is a dry, mineral style that reflects both place and vintage with striking clarity.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Concordance shows a refined, luminous profile with a fine mousse that carries its aromas elegantly. The nose opens with candied pineapple, apricot kernel, and vanilla apple compote, followed by floral and citrus accents that bring lift and complexity. On the palate, the wine is fresh and precise, with saffron-like spice, mirabelle plum, yellow peach, and cherry layered over a silky texture. Notes of citron blossom and candied lemon peel add brightness to the long, dry finish. Built on tension and purity, this Champagne has the structure to develop gracefully over time, gaining even more depth and nuance with bottle age.

Viininvalmistus
This Champagne comes from Polisot in the Côte des Bar, the southernmost part of the region, where chalky soils lend the wine its signature mineral edge. The Pinot Noir grapes are sourced from approximately 50-year-old vines, cultivated biodynamically with a focus on expressive fruit and site transparency. Vinification is carried out without added sulfur and without dosage, preserving the wine’s natural dryness, freshness, and precision.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve at 8–10°C to allow the wine’s delicate aromatics and mineral structure to shine. It pairs beautifully with oysters, sashimi, scallops, roast poultry, mushroom dishes, or aged hard cheeses. Decanting is generally not necessary, though a brief period in the glass can help open up its aromatic complexity.

Marie-Courtin is widely respected for its artisanal approach, purity of expression, and distinctive zero-dosage style.
