Morgen Long Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2021 is a beautifully expressive entry-level Chardonnay that delivers exceptional value without compromising on character. Winemaker Seth Morgen Long sources fruit from seven different sites across the Willamette Valley, creating a layered and regionally true wine that reflects both the diversity and precision of Oregon Chardonnay.

Makuprofiili
Pale gold in the glass, this Chardonnay opens with lifted aromas of lemon, lime, apricot, ginger, black tea, wet stones, and a subtle touch of smoke. The palate is vibrant and textured, balancing fresh citrus-driven energy with impressive depth and a long, flinty mineral finish. There is real finesse here, with the wine showing both brightness and complexity as it unfolds in the glass. While already highly enjoyable, it should also develop nicely over the next few years, gaining extra nuance and subtle richness with time.

Viininvalmistus
This wine is made entirely from hand-harvested Chardonnay grown in seven Willamette Valley vineyards, combining fruit from both older and younger vines for a broad and balanced expression of the region. Each site is fermented separately, then aged for 12 months in a mix of new and used oak barrels before the final blend is assembled and rested for an additional six months in stainless steel tank.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
A natural match for roast chicken, grilled salmon, shellfish, creamy pasta, or dishes with mushrooms and subtle butter sauces. Serve slightly chilled at around 10-12°C, and while decanting is not necessary, a short period in the glass will help the wine open up beautifully.
