Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2008 is one of Champagne’s most recognisable prestige cuvées, celebrated for its floral elegance, refined structure and unmistakable house style. Sourced from some of the finest Grand Cru Chardonnay vineyards in Cramant and Avize, it reflects the artistry of Perrier-Jouët at its most graceful, with a history that has long attracted admirers from the worlds of art and fashion.

In the glass, Belle Epoque 2008 shows a luminous golden hue with brilliant clarity and subtle amber highlights. The nose is expressive and refined, opening with white flowers, followed by notes of peach, pear and citrus, all lifted by a delicate mineral freshness. On the palate, it is poised and vibrant, with a clean, precise attack and a beautifully textured mousse. The Chardonnay-driven elegance is supported by Pinot Noir for depth and Pinot Meunier for balance, creating a Champagne that feels both layered and fresh. This vintage has strong aging potential and should continue to develop additional complexity over time, while remaining impressively graceful now.

Viininvalmistus
This vintage cuvée is built around the classic Perrier-Jouët style, with 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier. The Chardonnay comes from Grand Cru villages such as Cramant and Avize, where chalk-rich Champagne soils help create purity, finesse and aromatic lift, while the Pinot Noir from the Reims area adds structure and the Pinot Meunier brings harmony. The wine is aged for at least six years before release, allowing it to gain depth, texture and complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as shellfish, lobster, poached fish, poultry, creamy risotto and delicate vegetable dishes. It can also stand up to richer preparations featuring peach or root vegetables, as well as fine soft cheeses. Serve chilled at around 12°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, open it carefully and allow a few minutes in the glass for the aromas to fully unfold.
