Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blanc 2004

Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2004 is one of the house’s rarest and most emblematic cuvées, showcasing the purity and finesse of 100% Chardonnay from a single vintage and terroir. It captures over two centuries of Perrier-Jouët expertise in a Champagne that is both intensely floral and distinctly elegant, with the signature Belle Epoque style expressed at its most refined.

In the glass, it shows a lively golden hue with green reflections and exceptionally fine bubbles. The nose is beautifully expressive, layered with white flowers such as acacia, hawthorn, lilac, and elderflower, alongside more delicate notes of honey, poached pear, pineapple, and candied lemon. On the palate, this Champagne is crisp, rich, and intensely nuanced, with impressive freshness balancing its depth and complexity. The finish is long, silky, and graceful, with the structure to age beautifully and continue developing further aromatic detail over time.

Viininvalmistus
Crafted entirely from Chardonnay grapes and drawn from a single vintage and terroir, this cuvée reflects the precision and selectivity of Perrier-Jouët’s winemaking philosophy. It is aged for around six years to build texture and to encourage the floral character that defines the Blanc de Blancs style, with vinification aimed at preserving the varietal purity, freshness, and finesse of the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve at around 8°C to best appreciate its delicate mousse and aromatic complexity. It pairs wonderfully with crab, shellfish, mushrooms, and refined dishes featuring tropical or citrus notes such as passion fruit, while its elegance also makes it a strong match for lighter gourmet cuisine. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open shortly before serving to preserve its freshness and finesse.
