Post Parade Cabernet 2018

Post Parade Cabernet 2018 is a polished, deeply expressive Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon that combines concentration with remarkable elegance. Crafted by Thomas Rivers Brown from some of the region’s top vineyard sites, it reflects his signature style: powerful yet balanced, with precision, freshness, and a strong sense of place.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a deep dark red color with a vivid purple rim. The bouquet is layered and inviting, with blackcurrant jam, dark cherries, cloves, cedarwood, dark chocolate, and violet notes creating an aromatic profile that feels both rich and refined. On the palate, it mirrors the nose with full, concentrated fruit and a striking mineral edge that adds lift and definition. Notes of crushed stone and floral tones carry through the long, elegant finish, giving the wine impressive poise. With its structure and balance, this Cabernet has excellent aging potential and will continue to gain complexity over time.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from some of Napa Valley’s finest vineyard sites, carefully selected and closely monitored by Thomas Rivers Brown. Harvesting is done gently by hand to preserve fruit quality and character, followed by fermentation and 20 months of aging in French oak barrels, 85% of which are new, giving the wine depth, structure, and seamless integration of oak.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon is a natural match for grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, lamb chops, venison, or hearty mushroom dishes. Serve it at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1-2 hours to allow the wine’s aromatics and layered texture to fully unfold.
