Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Washington State’s most acclaimed red wines, prized for its depth, concentration, and remarkable balance. Crafted by winemaker Paul Golitzin, this Cabernet showcases the pedigree of standout sites in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA and reflects Quilceda Creek’s uncompromising pursuit of excellence.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine is deeply colored, almost black at the core, hinting at its power and intensity. The bouquet is layered and expressive, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry framed by notes of violets, truffle, pencil lead, dark chocolate, and sweet pipe tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, richly textured, and beautifully polished, with dense dark fruit supported by refined oak spice and a long, elegant finish. Despite its youth, the wine already feels harmonious, yet it has the structure and concentration to age gracefully for many years, developing even greater complexity over time.

Viininvalmistus
This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced primarily from Champoux Vineyard, with additional fruit from Mach One Vineyards, both located in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, where warm days, cool nights, and well-drained soils help Cabernet Sauvignon ripen with precision and intensity. The grapes are hand harvested to ensure only the best fruit reaches the cellar, then vinified carefully before being aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak barrels, adding structure, depth, and a layer of refined spice.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a wine best served with rich, flavorful dishes such as prime rib, grilled ribeye, lamb chops, venison, or slow-braised beef. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if enjoyed young to help the wine खुल up and show its full aromatic range.
