R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Blanco Reserva 2012 is a beautifully traditional white Rioja, crafted by one of Spain’s most iconic and historic producers. Made from Macabeo (Viura) and aged in the house’s unmistakably classic style, it offers a rare combination of freshness, depth, and savory complexity that sets it apart from more modern white wines.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this wine shows a deep golden hue that hints at its extended maturation. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of dried fruit, nuts, honey, and subtle oxidative nuances, all hallmarks of López de Heredia’s long-aged whites. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced by lively acidity. Flavors of ripe apple, almond, and gentle spice unfold with impressive complexity, leading to a long, lingering finish. Viininvalmistus
Produced from Macabeo grapes in Rioja, this wine reflects the region’s traditional white winemaking heritage. The wine is then bottle-aged before release, giving it added harmony and complexity.
