In the glass, the wine shows an inky, saturated color that hints at its richness and depth. The nose is highly complex, opening with dark cherry, blueberry, liquorice, camphor, violets, and forest floor, layered with remarkable intensity. The palate is still unfolding, but already delivers dark cherry, blackberry, spice, dark chocolate, pine, crushed stone, and a touch of mint. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours if drinking now to help the wine open up and show its full aromatic range.
