Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows an almost impenetrable dark color, setting the stage for a powerful yet polished Cabernet. The nose is layered with blackberry, blueberry, cassis, tobacco, smoke, graphite, and crushed stone, unfolding with impressive depth and clarity. The palate echoes the dark and blue fruit profile, joined by notes of dark chocolate, black tea, vanilla, and a touch of dusty earth. Despite its richness and intensity, the wine carries an airy elegance that makes it compelling already, while still promising excellent development over time. There is no need to rush this bottle; it should reward cellaring beautifully.

Viininvalmistus
Panek Vineyard lies in St. Helena, in the shadow of the Mayacamas Mountains along the historic Napa River corridor, where the site’s terroir and low-yielding vines deliver exceptionally concentrated fruit. The grapes were harvested from this prized vineyard and crafted by Thomas Rivers Brown, who aged the wine in 75% new French oak barrels to add structure, nuance, and polish without overshadowing the fruit.

This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with classic rich dishes such as grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, or venison, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening young to help the aromas and texture fully open.
