Spottswoode Lyndenhurst Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is the estate’s elegant answer to a more approachable Napa Cabernet, offering much of the character and pedigree of the flagship wine at a friendlier price. Built around Cabernet Sauvignon and lifted by Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, it brings together depth, finesse, and the kind of polish that has made Spottswoode a benchmark producer in California.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby-red color. The nose is layered and inviting, with aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry, cedar, cocoa, and subtle floral tones. On the palate, Lyndenhurst 2017 is full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with silky tannins, generous dark fruit, and a refined structure that carries through to a long, harmonious finish. It is approachable now, but its solid frame and elegant profile suggest it will continue to develop gracefully in bottle over the coming years.

Viininvalmistus
Lyndenhurst 2017 is primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by smaller amounts of Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc for added complexity. The fruit comes from Spottswoode’s estate vineyards as well as carefully selected parcels in Napa Valley, where premium sites contribute concentration, freshness, and aromatic lift. After fermentation, the wine is aged in a blend of French oak barrels to build texture and refine its layered style.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs naturally with grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, venison, or a well-aged hard cheese. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended if drinking now to help the wine खुल fully and show its aromatics and texture at their best.
