Steorra Brut Sparkling Russian River Valley is a polished non-vintage sparkling wine from Sonoma County, crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown in one of California’s most highly regarded cool-climate regions. Made using the traditional method, it offers a refined, Champagne-inspired style at an appealing price point, with the signature precision and ambition you’d expect from Joe Wagner’s winemaking.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this sparkling wine shows a bright, elegant mousse and a clean, pale straw color. The nose opens with fresh lemon, grapefruit, green apple, and a subtle toasted brioche note, giving it both lift and complexity. On the palate, it is crisp, dry, and well balanced, with soft, creamy bubbles and a refreshing citrus-driven finish. The fruit is lively but not overly ripe, while the brioche character adds depth and a touch of sophistication. Best enjoyed young and fresh to preserve its vibrancy, though it should hold well over the short term.

Viininvalmistus
Steorra Brut is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Russian River Valley, where the cool coastal influence and foggy mornings help preserve acidity and develop aromatic finesse. Grapes are harvested with care to capture freshness and balance, then vinified using the traditional sparkling wine method, with a secondary fermentation in bottle to build texture, complexity, and fine bubbles.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Brut is a versatile partner at the table and works beautifully with oysters, sushi, shrimp, fried appetizers, goat cheese, or roast chicken. It should be served well chilled, ideally around 6–8°C, and does not require decanting.

Steorra is a sparkling wine project from Joe Wagner, one of California’s most dynamic winemakers and the founder of several successful wine brands under Copper Cane Wines & Provisions. Wagner comes from the family behind Caymus Winery and built his reputation through a string of ambitious, widely praised wines, especially from California’s coastal regions. With Steorra, he brings that same focus and experience to sparkling wine, offering a refined debut from Russian River Valley.
