Wayfarer WF2 Pinot Noir 2021 is a vibrant, estate-grown Pinot Noir from the cool West Sonoma Coast, offering the kind of quality that makes it an easy choice for any day of the week. Made in limited quantities from 100% estate fruit, it captures the freshness, intensity, and coastal character that have made Wayfarer such a standout name in California Pinot Noir.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows the elegant, luminous profile typical of coastal Pinot Noir. Aromas of boysenberry and cherry rise first, followed by delicate notes of rose petal that add perfume and lift. The palate is seductively textured, with impressive depth balanced by bright cranberry-driven acidity and a lively, tension-filled finish. It continues to open beautifully with air, and with its structure and concentration, it should evolve gracefully over the next several years.

Viininvalmistus
The WF2 bottling is crafted entirely from estate-grown grapes sourced from Wayfarer’s West Sonoma Coast vineyards, an area known for its cool climate, coastal influence, and long growing season. The fruit is harvested by hand, all clusters are destemmed before pressing, and the wine is aged for 10 months in French oak, with 30% new barrels used to add subtle complexity and texture without overpowering the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, herb-roasted chicken, or dishes with earthy, savory elements. Serve slightly chilled at around 15–16°C, and decanting is not essential, though a short aeration can help the wine fully express its ароматics and layered palate.
