Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a graceful, polished character that hints at its coastal origins. Aromatically, it opens with bright boysenberry and ripe cherry, lifted by fragrant rose petals and a subtle, inviting freshness. On the palate, the wine is seductive and finely layered, combining generous fruit depth with a core of tangy cranberry that keeps everything lively and balanced. Its coastal tension carries through the finish, giving the wine energy, length, and a mouthwatering edge. With time in bottle, it should continue to open and gain further complexity, making it appealing now while also rewarding short-term cellaring.

Viininvalmistus
WF2 is made entirely from estate fruit sourced from Wayfarer vineyards on the West Sonoma Coast, where the cool maritime influence helps preserve freshness, aromatic precision, and natural acidity. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed before pressing, and the wine is matured for 10 months in French oak, including 30% new barrels, adding subtle structure and spice without overpowering the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with duck breast, roast chicken, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, or earthy dishes featuring truffle, lentils, or porcini. Serve slightly chilled at around 15–16°C for the best balance of fragrance and texture. Decanting is optional, but a short aeration can help the wine reveal its full aromatic range.
