On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and refined, with well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, graceful finish. This wine pairs beautifully with rich dishes such as roast beef, lamb, game, duck, or braised short ribs, as well as mature cheeses. Serve at around 16-18°C for the best expression of its aromatics and structure. Decanting is recommended if opening now, ideally 1-2 hours before serving, to allow the wine to open fully and reveal its layered complexity.
