In the glass, Château Margaux 2018 shows a deep, polished ruby color with impressive density and brightness. The nose is layered and beautifully expressive, offering blackcurrant, violet, graphite, cedar, and subtle vanilla notes, with a hint of spice and ripe dark fruit unfolding over time. On the palate, it is powerful yet supremely graceful, with concentrated cassis, plum, and floral tones carried by fine tannins and vivid freshness. Viininvalmistus
The vineyards of Château Margaux sit on some of Bordeaux’s most prized gravel soils, which provide excellent drainage and help the Cabernet Sauvignon reach full ripeness while preserving freshness and aromatic precision. The estate’s vines are carefully managed with a strong focus on preserving older plantings, and harvest is carried out parcel by parcel to ensure only the best fruit is selected. Vinification follows a meticulous, traditional approach aimed at capturing purity, structure, and the distinctive elegance of the terroir.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a wine that deserves refined food: filet of beef, roasted lamb, duck breast, truffle dishes, or game with rich sauces all make excellent companions. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young, as this can help open the wine’s aromatic layers and soften its youthful structure.
