In the glass, this 2021 Cuvée Réservée pours a dark, насыщенный ruby with concentrated depth. The nose is layered and expressive, opening with blackberries, dark plums and black tea, then unfolding into black pepper, fresh rosemary and thyme, with additional notes of leather and sandalwood emerging with time in the glass. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, yet balanced by finesse, delivering dense dark fruit, clove, white pepper and a vivid herbal streak that mirrors the aromatic profile. Built for the long haul, it will develop further over the next 5 years and can comfortably age for 20 to 25 years or more.

Viininvalmistus
Cuvée Réservée is made from a traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend of 13 grape varieties, though it is dominated by around 80% Grenache. The grapes are pressed as whole clusters, fermented in cement tanks without added yeast, and then aged for two years in used oak barrels. This restrained élevage preserves purity of fruit while allowing the wine’s structure, spice and mineral character to fully emerge.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a natural match for richly flavoured dishes such as roast lamb, game, beef short ribs, slow-cooked stews and herb-crusted meats, as well as mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C to bring out its aromatic complexity and layered fruit. Decanting is recommended, especially in its youth, to allow the wine to open and show its full breadth.
