Domaine Faury Condrieu Tradition 2019 is a beautifully выразive take on Viognier from one of the Rhône’s most celebrated appellations. Sourced from steep, granite-rich slopes around Chavanay in the northern Rhône, it captures the variety’s natural perfume and richness while preserving the freshness that gives Condrieu its distinctive appeal.

Makuprofiili
This 2019 Condrieu shows a bright, polished character in the glass, with a generous aromatic profile that immediately draws you in. The nose opens with ripe apricot, white peach, and melon, lifted by elegant floral notes of acacia and spring blossom. On the palate, it is creamy, rounded, and full-bodied, yet impressively fresh and precise. The wine balances its ripe fruit with a vibrant mineral edge that brings definition and finesse, finishing long, clean, and energetic, without heaviness or bitterness. It is already highly expressive, but it also has the structure to develop gracefully over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from steep granite and stony hillsides around Chavanay, where the northern Rhône’s warm sunshine helps Viognier reach full aromatic maturity, while cooler breezes preserve acidity and freshness. Harvesting is typically carried out with careful attention to ripeness due to the challenging slope conditions, and the vinification is designed to preserve the grape’s natural perfume and texture while maintaining purity and balance.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve with scallops, delicate fish, poultry, creamy pasta dishes, or aromatic Asian cuisine. It also works wonderfully on its own as an elegant aperitif-style wine. For the best expression, serve chilled at around 10-12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless you want to open it up a little further in its youth.
