Domaine Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2015 is a benchmark white Burgundy, drawn from one of the Côte de Beaune’s most revered Grand Cru vineyards. Positioned between Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Le Montrachet, it combines power, depth, and refinement in a style that captures both the richness of the site and the precision of Domaine Leflaive’s winemaking.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a brilliant golden color that hints at its concentration and depth. The nose is layered and expressive, unfolding with citrus zest, baked apple, toasted nuts, honey, and a striking mineral edge. On the palate, it is intense and concentrated, yet beautifully balanced by fresh acidity and a creamy, polished texture. Notes of butter, vanilla, and wet stone carry through the long, refined finish, while its exceptional structure suggests a wine built for graceful aging over many years.

Viininvalmistus
Made entirely from Chardonnay, this Grand Cru is produced according to Domaine Leflaive’s biodynamic principles, allowing the character of the terroir to shine with clarity and authenticity. Natural fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels, with a measured use of new oak, add complexity and depth without overpowering the wine’s finesse.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a superb match for refined dishes such as lobster, foie gras, truffle-based creations, and mature cheeses. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C to allow its aromas and texture to fully unfold, and decanting is generally unnecessary but can be considered briefly for very young bottles.
