Egly-Ouriet Brut Grand Cru is a standout Champagne from the historic Grand Cru vineyards of Ambonnay, where power and precision come together in remarkable harmony. Built primarily on Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay lending lift and finesse, it offers a vinous, deeply expressive style that reflects the producer’s uncompromising approach and long-standing reputation for quality.

In the glass, it shows a refined mousse with fine, persistent bubbles and a luminous golden hue. The bouquet opens with ripe apple, citrus peel, toasted brioche, hazelnut, and a subtle hint of spice, gradually revealing greater depth with air. The palate is concentrated and mineral-driven, with firm structure, bright acidity, and impressive length. Beneath the richness lies a distinctly Burgundian sense of depth and texture, supported by extended lees aging that brings complexity and breadth. This is a Champagne with excellent aging potential, capable of developing even more nuance and integration over time.

Viininvalmistus
Sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Ambonnay, the wine benefits from chalk-rich soils and a terroir that gives Pinot Noir both strength and precision. The grapes are harvested by hand, and the cellar work is known for a restrained, quality-focused philosophy that emphasizes purity and expression of site. Long maturation on the lees is central to the style, building complexity, texture, and the wine’s signature vinous character.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Ideal with refined dishes such as scallops, lobster, roast poultry, truffle risotto, or aged hard cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is generally not necessary, but allowing the wine a few minutes in the glass can help reveal its full aromatic depth.
