Graham's Porto Late Bottled Vintage Port 2020

Graham's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2020 is a beautifully crafted expression of the Douro, drawn from fruit grown on four of the house's prime vineyards in the region's steep, mountainous landscape. With a blend led by classic Port grapes such as Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, it captures both the depth and structure Graham's is known for, while the late August rain at Quinta dos Malvedos helped give the vintage valuable balance after a notably dry growing season.

Makuprofiili
This LBV Port typically shows a deep ruby-purple color, hinting at its youth and concentration. On the nose, expect rich aromas of black cherries, plums, dark berries, cocoa, violets, and a subtle touch of spice and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied and plush, with ripe dark fruit at the core, layered with licorice, chocolate, and warming spice, all supported by firm but polished tannins. Graham's LBV is made to be enjoyed on release or after a few years in bottle, but it can also develop gracefully over the medium term, gaining complexity and softer texture.

Viininvalmistus
Produced from grapes harvested from four carefully selected vineyards across the Douro Valley, this wine reflects the character of the region's schist soils, steep terraces, and dramatic elevation changes. The blend includes Alicante Bouschet, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional, varieties well suited to the area's heat and dryness. The 2020 growing season was marked by dry conditions, with a timely rainfall event in late August at Quinta dos Malvedos helping to restore balance before harvest. The fruit was vinified with the aim of preserving concentration, freshness, and the dense structure typical of fine LBV Port.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve slightly cool, ideally around 16-18°C, to best show its fruit and freshness. It pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate desserts, berry tarts, blue cheese, hard aged cheeses, or even roasted nuts. Decanting is recommended before serving, especially if you want to separate any sediment and allow the wine's aromas to open up fully.
