Hartford Dina's Zinfandel 2018

Hartford Dina's Zinfandel 2018 is a single-vineyard California Zinfandel from some of the oldest vines in the region, offering a rare glimpse into the character of heritage plantings more than a century old. Produced in extremely limited quantities and made with a light, hands-off winemaking approach, it captures the bold, expressive side of Sonoma Coast Zinfandel at its finest.

Makuprofiili
The wine shows a deep purple color in the glass, hinting at its concentration and intensity. Aromatically, it opens with an exuberant bouquet of cherry, blueberry compote, blackberry, and dried mulberry, layered with floral notes of violet, lavender, and rose. On the palate, it is richly concentrated and seamless, echoing the dark fruit character while adding cocoa, mocha, and toasted spice. The texture is generous yet balanced, with enough structure to suggest very good aging potential over the coming years, especially for those who enjoy mature, complex Zinfandel.

Viininvalmistus
Sourced from a single vineyard planted over 100 years ago, this Zinfandel comes from old vines that produce very low yields, resulting in exceptional concentration and character. The wine was aged for 13 months in oak barrels, half of them new, and bottled without clarification or filtration to preserve purity, texture, and the full expression of the vineyard.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a bold, flavorful Zinfandel that pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, barbecued ribs, peppered steak, braised short ribs, or rich mushroom dishes. Serve it at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for 30-60 minutes to allow its aromas and layered flavors to fully open.
