This is a modern Douro red with a clear sense of place and a beautifully focused character.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a deep, inviting color, with aromas of violet, lavender, and blackcurrant unfolding alongside subtle hints of graphite and crushed stone. The bouquet is fragrant and layered, with a cool-climate freshness that gives the wine immediate appeal. On the palate, it is sleek, juicy, and well-defined, with dark fruit framed by fine tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is long and energetic, with a mineral edge that keeps everything poised. While enjoyable now for its clarity and elegance, it also has the structure to evolve gracefully over the next several years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from granitic slopes in the Cima Corgo subregion of the Douro, at around 500 meters above sea level, where cooler temperatures help preserve acidity and slow ripening. The vineyards benefit from a high-altitude terroir that lends the wine freshness, tension, and a distinct mineral character. Harvesting is carried out carefully to select fruit at optimal ripeness, and vinification follows a gentle approach with natural fermentation. The wine is then aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels, allowing the purity of the Touriga Nacional and the character of the site to remain at the forefront.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, grilled beef, game birds, and rich mushroom-based dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve it at 16–18°C to bring out its aromatic detail and balance. Decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended, especially if enjoying it young, to help the wine open fully and soften the tannins.
