Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Blanc 2016 is the house’s 76th vintage since 1842, crafted from a year marked by striking contrasts: a cool spring, a sunny summer, and intermittent rain that shaped a Champagne of real character. The result is a precise, expressive vintage with impressive intensity, where freshness and maturity are balanced in classic Grand Vintage style.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the champagne shines with a pale golden hue and a stream of fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is elegant and layered, opening with citrus fruit, white flowers, and stone fruit, then unfolding into subtle notes of almond, fresh brioche, and a gentle mineral lift. On the palate, it is vibrant yet refined, with bright acidity, a creamy texture, and a clean saline minerality that gives the wine real tension and length. The finish is long and dry, with delicate hints of grapefruit and nuts. Built on the structure of a strong vintage, it has the depth to drink beautifully now and the balance to develop further with a few years of cellaring.

This Champagne is an excellent match for oysters, sashimi, scallops, roast chicken, or dishes with creamy sauces and subtle citrus accents. It also pairs well with aged hard cheeses and lightly salted appetizers. Serve chilled at 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended.
