In the glass, this wine shows the deep, lively color typical of Barbera. The nose opens with an inviting bouquet of juicy dark cherries, plums, and a mix of ripe red berries, giving it immediate charm and lift. On the palate, it is harmonious and well composed, with bright fruit, supple texture, and a structured yet smooth feel. The finish is long and satisfying, with enough freshness to keep the wine energetic and enough balance to suggest it can evolve nicely over the next few years, especially while retaining its fruity appeal.

Made from Barbera grown in Piemonte, the wine reflects the character of one of Italy’s most celebrated red-wine regions, where the grape thrives in cool-to-moderate conditions that preserve freshness and vibrancy. The wine is aged for 9 months in stainless steel to maintain purity of fruit and then rested for 4 months in bottle, allowing the components to knit together before release.

This Barbera d’Asti is an excellent match for pasta with tomato-based sauces, roasted poultry, grilled sausages, mushroom dishes, and aged semi-hard cheeses. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 16–18°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a short aeration can help open the aromas if you prefer.
