Salon Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne 2013 is a rare, highly sought-after vintage Champagne made only in exceptional years by the legendary house of Salon. Crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, it is celebrated for its purity, tension, and refined mineral character. As one of Champagne’s most exclusive cuvées, it stands as a benchmark for elegant Blanc de Blancs Champagne.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a bright, luminous appearance with fine, persistent bubbles that speak to its precision and finesse. The nose is lifted and complex, offering citrus peel, white flowers, chalky minerality, and subtle notes of brioche and toasted bread. On the palate, the wine is taut and focused, with vivid acidity balanced by layered texture and depth. Flavors of lemon, green apple, white peach, and fresh pastry unfold slowly, supported by a long, saline finish. While already impressive, the 2013 vintage has excellent aging potential and will continue to gain complexity over many years in cellar.

Viininvalmistus
Salon is based in the Côte des Blancs, and this cuvée comes specifically from Grand Cru Chardonnay vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a terroir famous for its chalky soils and outstanding mineral expression. Grapes are harvested by hand in exceptional vintage years only, with production kept deliberately tiny to preserve quality and exclusivity. Vinification is carried out with great precision to emphasize freshness, structure, and the distinctive identity of the site.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne is an excellent match for refined dishes such as oysters, scallops, sashimi, lobster, caviar, or delicate poultry dishes with creamy sauces. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses and lightly salted appetizers. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not recommended, though a brief pause in the glass can help the wine раскры its aromatic detail.
