Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is one of Champagne’s most recognisable non-vintage cuvées, celebrated for its balance of power, freshness and elegance. Built around the house’s hallmark Pinot Noir structure, it delivers both character and finesse, making it a classic expression of the Veuve Clicquot style. Since its introduction, it has become a benchmark for consistent quality in Champagne.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a bright golden hue with lively, persistent bubbles. The nose opens with notes of ripe apple, pear, citrus and white flowers, followed by subtler hints of brioche, toast and gentle spice from ageing on the lees and reserve wines. The palate is generous and structured, with Pinot Noir bringing depth and backbone, Chardonnay adding precision and lift, and Pinot Meunier contributing a rounded, supple finish. The dosage is well integrated, giving the wine a smooth, balanced feel with enough freshness to keep it vibrant. While ready to enjoy now, it also has the concentration to hold for a few years in bottle.

Viininvalmistus
Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label is sourced from a broad selection of Champagne vineyards, reflecting the house’s access to some of the region’s finest fruit and its strength in blending. The cuvée is composed of 55% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, with 25-40% reserve wines contributing depth and consistency from vintage to vintage. The wine is completed with a dosage of 9 grams, helping to preserve harmony and roundness in the finished Champagne.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve chilled, ideally at 8-10°C, to highlight its freshness and finesse. It works beautifully with oysters, smoked salmon, sushi, roast chicken, soft cheeses and light seafood dishes, but is equally at home as an aperitif. Decanting is not recommended; instead, simply open and pour to enjoy its fine mousse and immediate vibrancy.
