Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Zinfandel shows a vivid violet-red color that hints at its energy and concentration. The nose is aromatic and layered, offering sassafras and nutmeg alongside juicy blackberry and stone fruit notes. On the palate, the wine delivers lively, precise acidity balanced by concentrated, polished tannins. It has both generosity and structure, making it enjoyable now while also promising many years of graceful development in bottle.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from the iconic Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard in Russian River Valley, near Fulton, first planted in 1890. The vineyard is dry-farmed, encouraging deep root systems and adding complexity to the fruit, and although Zinfandel is the main variety, small amounts of Alicante Bouschet and Petite Sirah contribute extra depth and character.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Zinfandel pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, barbecued pork, roasted duck, and richly seasoned dishes such as braised short ribs or mushroom ragout. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if opening it young to help the aromas and structure fully open up.
