In the glass, this vintage shows a deep ruby hue with impressive concentration. The nose opens with dark berries, black cherry, and plum, layered with spice, earthy leather, and subtle herbal notes, giving it both generosity and complexity. The palate is full-bodied and firmly structured, with ripe dark fruit, black pepper, dried herbs, and a touch of cocoa woven through the finish. There is excellent balance between power and freshness, and the wine’s tannins and depth suggest strong aging potential, allowing it to develop beautifully over many years.

Château de Beaucastel is located in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the southern Rhône, where the vineyards benefit from a warm Mediterranean climate and the region’s famous stony soils, which help retain heat and promote ripening. The estate is known for careful harvesting and an emphasis on preserving the character of each grape variety, followed by traditional vinification methods that highlight structure, balance, and aromatic complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for braised lamb, roast beef, game, and richly flavored Mediterranean dishes, as well as mature cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C to allow the aromatics and structure to shine. Decanting is recommended, especially if enjoyed young, to help the wine open up and reveal its full complexity.
